French model, Laetitia Casta was discovered at the age of 15 while lying on the beach with her family. She has brought curves back to ad campaigns such as Guess? and over 80 magazine covers such as Seventeen, Cosmopolitan and Glamour.

Laetitia has a brown belt in Judo and feels that her martial arts experience has helped her gain international success by teaching her not to be aggressive and to think with her mind, not her emotions.

The sexy screen star has come under a barrage of attack from critics who fear the program, about a frumpy fashion assistant, is placing renewed pressure on girls to look good.


But Salma Hayek maintains the show's title and content are meant to be an ironic take on conventional views.


Salma Hayek says,


"The title has a lot to do with the tone of the show--it's sarcastic. I don't think Betty is really ugly, but what do we call ugly now?


"Some people think that anybody who is not super-skinny and really tall is ugly. Not me. I personally have seen a lot of really skinny, tall models that are ugly and need to eat a little more to look healthy.


"So the title is actually sarcastic, we're making fun of it--we're not really calling her ugly, we're making fun of the people that would think she's ugly. Personally, I think she's beautiful."

Harry Potter star Emma Watson seems to have made a smooth transition from her glamorous life as an actress to a simple life of a student. Emma had magic tricks up her sleeves to charm her classmates on the first day of her college.

The 19-year-old beauty was spotted wearing a simple white T-shirt, denim shorts, and trainers in her campus at Brown University, in Providence, Rhode Island. She showed how from a sitting position to magically raise yourself to standing without putting your hands on the ground, reports the Sun. Her friends apparently had a hearty laugh on seeing the trick.

She apparently looked happy and relaxed under the sun as she chilled with her friends. Watson also passed all her A-levels with straight A grades. She even believes that going to university will make her a better actress.

“I actually think going to university will make me a better actress,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying. She added: “It sounds so geeky, but I really do like studying and reading, and if I’m not working on Harry Potter, then my greatest relaxation is to sit with a book.”

Watson is taking a degree in literature. Watson is pursuing a degree in Literature at Brown University, in Providence, Rhode Island.

Asin to replace Katrina
The ‘Ghajini’ gal Asin is going to replace one of the leading ladies of Bollywood, Katrina Kaif in the Yashraj project. Asin after playing the ladylove of Aamir Khan is getting ready to play Shahrukh Khan’s darling in the upcoming Yashraj's untitled project. Initially, Katrina was to play the lead but her name was dropped due to the on going tussle between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. King Khan does not want to connect with anything which is directly or indirectly related to Salman Khan and so he has withheld Katrina’s name.


Luck favored Asin and she got to sign Yashraj project as her Priyadarshan project with Akshay Kumar postponed to March 2010. It was Akki who suggested Priyan to cast Asin opposite him. As the project dates back to March next year, the south sensation got free dates to sign Yashraj project. Post 'Ghajini' success, Asin has become the most demanding actress of Bollywood. Not only films but she has also in her kitty some fabulous product to endorse.
